UNIT LABELS

Provides identification of the item being packed for shipments and containers. This includes the National Stock Number, part number, item description, quantity and unit of issue, contract number, shelf life markings and serial numbers if applicable.

UID LABELS AND IUID LABELS

UID & IUID Labels contain a combination of human and machine readable information and are a unique identification code required by The United States Department of Defense on all equipment and parts to track products. These labels must be applied to or directly marked on the asset for its lifecycle.

DLR LABELS

Depot Level Repairable Labels are standardized (3″ x 5″ or 2″x 3″) with a distinctive blue background and yellow lettering on premium sticker paper used on box or pallet shipments.

BAR CODE SHIPPING LABELS

Getting the right barcode label can be a frustrating experience. They provide both linear and two-dimensional (2-D) barcodes on Military Shipping Labels. One set is used for unit and intermediate containers, and another for exterior containers.

Common Label Requirements:

2D (PDF417) bar code, linear (Code 39) bar code, NSN/NATO stock number, CAGE code, PN or P/N (part number), item description, Quantity and UI, Contract number or purchase order number. PIIN (procurement instrument identification number, four-digit delivery order or call number, modification for change order number, military preservation method and date of unit preservation, shelf life, serial number, TCN (Transportation Control Number, and HAZMAT markings.
