V3C boxes are chemically treated military shipping containers that are made of weatherized corrugated fiberboard that are required in most instances when shipping to the federal government. While not all agencies within the government require the use of V3C boxes when shipping product to them, the majority of agencies do. These boxes provide a sturdy packaging solution which performs well when exposed to high moisture environments during the shipping process.
These military shipping containers are designed to ship explosives, ammo and other products built exclusively for the government. V3C boxes meet ASTM-D4727 and ASTM-D5118 specifications.
